SEATTLE, WA. September 21, 2022 — TeamSense, a communications platform that connects hourly employees and their companies, is enhancing attendance data by surfacing insights that exist within the employer portal of their attendance management product. Attendance Insights beta equips managers with tools to discover attendance patterns and outliers to aid their teams and how they function.

In this new release feature, HR managers with admin access will receive in-depth data to view employee absences by the previous 30 days, 12 weeks, 12 months, or “all time.” Attendance Insights uses custom filters to make it easy to sort by absence type, compare absences at different sites and locations, and reveal team members with perfect attendance or those who have been absent the most. Uncovering this kind of intricate absence and attendance data equips HR managers with valuable information they need to sustain daily operations, check employee statuses, and notice attendance trends that impact profits and productivity.

The beta preview of Attendance Insights is available now to current TeamSense customers in the employer dashboard, with additional insights being released in the coming weeks. Non-customers can receive access to a free trial of Attendance Insights. The free trial access will last until the beta preview expires on November 15, 2022.

Attendance Insights takes data and information and transforms it into powerful visuals managers can use to see a snapshot of the attendance health of their company. "This enables you to turn data into action and increase productivity by getting in front of staffing gaps," said Adam St Clair, TeamSense Partnership Consultant.

Absenteeism is an issue that impacts every company. According to The Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average absence rate in the United States is 3.2%.1 In addition to this, Circadian found that unscheduled absenteeism costs American employers $3,600 per hourly employee per year.2 By giving HR managers access to absence and attendance data, they can better work toward reducing absenteeism at their company and reduce costs associated with continued employee absences.

TeamSense’s new product feature, Attendance Insights, will support managers and HR professionals who desire deeper information and data regarding absences. Attendance Insights enhances attendance data by surfacing essential information that would otherwise be unknown. Get beta access to Attendance Insights now through November 15, 2022.
